704 Minimizing Chemical Waste without the Big Bang

Description: The University of Houston uses many chemical substances in scientific research and teaching activities. Although efforts are made to reuse or recycle whenever possible, ultimately, some are discarded as regulated hazardous waste. This presentation describes procedures to safely minimize the amount of hazardous waste shipped off campus for disposal.
