Description: A Value-add project for refuse truck improvements will be presented. PtD principles were combined with risk assessment tools, productivity evaluation and sustainability. Results indicated that EHS professionals could have an important role in new business plans and implementation of Lean Six Sigma practices to minimize injuries and improve productivity.
